Lucasfilm has released a trailer for Star Wars: Uprising, a new mobile game that takes the Star Wars saga into the era between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
Developed by Kabam, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm, Star Wars: Uprising will follow events set in the Anoat Sector, where where Hoth and Cloud City are located, and will allow players to create characters, go on missions, build their gear and skills, and organize crews and factions to participate in wide-ranging battles. Players will learn hundreds of new abilities and collect classic gear and equipment conducive to creating their own takes on iconic roles: Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Rebel Guerilla, Diplomat, Gambler, or something new entirely.
Players can visit https://playstarwarsuprising.com to pre-register, vote for in-game content and win exclusive prizes, including a stormtrooper helmet. Beta testing wil roll out in the coming weeks.
