It has been a crazy year for the cast of Stranger Things. The Netflix series quickly became a sensation follow its release, pushing its cast of child stars into the public sphere. The spunky kids have endeared the hearts of thousands - if not millions - and fans are more than ready to see the child actors return to Stranger Things for Season 2. And, in particular, audiences are excited to see Noah Schnapp take his role of Will to the next level.

The actor spoke with The Hollywood Reporter recently and talked about Season 2. "There are so many ways Will can go in the next season with how they set it up," he said. "But honestly, any way would be pretty cool. But it would be pretty cool to play an evil Will."

Of course, fans would be a bit surprised to see the kind-hearted character go all 'dark side' on them - and the character's friends would be too. Schanpps acknowledge the fact, saying that Will is the "heart" of his friend group.

"He's the nice one," Schnapps said. "Obviously, they're all nice, but Will is the one who cares for all of them. He holds them all together, that big, long-lasting friendship, because he's so sweet and so easy to talk to."

The actor also talked about how Will and Eleven might meet up in Season 2, but the actor first confessed that he thinks the two have already met. Schnapps said, "In one of the episodes, Eleven sees a picture of me, and she points at it and says, "Will." So I think maybe one time...maybe I didn't meet her, but maybe she saw me somewhere."

Currently, fans aren't even sure if Eleven will return to the series. The showrunners are keeping quiet about the character's comeback, but fans are hopefully that Eleven will get to meet Will properly. After all, the telekinetic character might be able to help Will process the time he spent in Upside Down.

And who knows? She might even need to help him with his own superpowers. Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, has a pretty convincing fan-theory that supposes Will was gifted powers while in Upside Down. The actor shared his theory on AMC's Geeking Out and said his reasoning comes from the fact that the Demagorgon attacked Will first. And, what's more, the boy was then able to communicate with his mom Joyce through lighting and electrical interferences in their home.

However, fans don't know for sure if Will has been gifted with any kind of gift. However, the one of the final scenes of Stranger Things Season 1 hinted that Will was changed by his time in Upside Down. The boy is seen throwing up tiny monsters, but Schnapps isn't sure how his character has been infected - but he hopes it will turn Will evil.

"I don't know," Schnapps said, "But my guess is that maybe he's going to become evil in the next season. If he's coughing up these baby Demogorgons, or eggs, or something, maybe he's incubating or holding these eggs inside of him and he's trying to fight his good side against his bad side in the next season. That would be cool to see, to see him become evil."

Currently, There is no word yet on when Stranger Things will return to Netflix. A tentative release for Season 2is slated for 2017.
