Supergirl Gets New Costume In Falling Episode Photos

Red Kryptonite is coming to National City — and with it, a new costume for Supergirl in three weeks.

In the March 14 episode, titled “Falling,” Kara turns on her friends and the citizens of National City after being exposed to Red Kryptonite makes her malicious and dangerous. Also, Cat appears on THE TALK to discuss Supergirl.

In the episode, we’ll get to see Melissa Benoist take Kara where she hasn’t yet gone: Into the Kryptonian military garb worn by Astra, Non, and the other Phantom Zoners on the show.

This wouldn’t be the first time that an alien influence caused such a change for the House of El. In the ’90s Superman story “Day of the Krypton Man,” Superman became possessed by The Eradicator and reverted to a cold, unemotional and more thoroughly Kryptonian version of himself, endangering human life until he came to his senses.
