The Expendables films have grossed over $750 million at the worldwide box office, but the last film in the series only generated $39 million at the U.S. box office, which is less than half of what The Expendables 2 ($85 million) brought in. In spite of that, a fourth film in the action series got the go-ahead in October and was expected to begin filming sometime in 2016. Since that report came out, it has been eerily quiet.

“He’s got a lot more choices now, and my thing is, really, whether he wants to do it or not,” Crews told Collider. “Because if he wants to do it, I’m in! Like, there’s no stopping me! But it’s a matter of… It’s really up to Sly, because this is his baby, his creation, and if he wants to do another one, I’m in!”
