Today was the day that The CW got to shine at the TCA 2016 Winter Press Tour and they didn't disappoint. Much of their effort went into promoting their new series DC's Legends of Tomorrow (here, and here), but they saved some room to tease who The Flash's main villain might be in Season 3.

Earlier this season Grodd reappeared on The Flash and after pulling some King Kong-like antic with Dr. Caitlin Snow, Team Flash lured the mind-manipulating gorilla through an Earth-2 breach that sent him to Gorilla City. Will we see Grodd again this season? Collider was informed by Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg that Grodd won't be back in the second-half of Season 2 as a multi-episode arc for him is being saved for next season.

"I would liken the Gorilla City thing to Ra's al Ghul," Kreisberg explained. "You know, you hear about 'the man from nanda part' in [Arrow] Season 1, and 'the man who showed Malcolm the way,' and then you met Nyssa, then in Season 3 you met Ra's. So, it's a long-term thing."

The Flash returns Tuesday, January 19 at 8PM on The CW!
