Along with some collectibles from Star Wars and The Iron Giant, Sideshow Collectibles this week revealed a first look at their upcoming Donatello statue -- from the company's Teenate Mutant Ninja Turtles collection.
"The brainy brother of the fearsome fighting team, Donatello is as adept at using his mind as he is his muscles. Poised with his trusty bo staff on a sewer scene base, the Donatello statue is the perfect compliment to the other Turtles from the collection - each with bases that create a dynamic display when placed in proximity to one another," says the company's website. "An original interpretation crafted out of polyresin, Donatello is a fitting edition to those who look back and remember a time when anthropomorphic turtles and pizza were the only things that really mattered."

The statue stands 16" tall and weighs 8 pounds. It isn't inspired by the most recent feature film series, but rather seems a bit of an amalgam of various designs. It's lifelike in its detail, but the logo on the series is that of the current cartoon on Nickelodeon and, as seen above, the description is a callback to the toons of the '80s and '90s.
The statue will run you $349.99 (although you can pay in installments if you prefer) and is available for pre-order now.
The statue features work from Dan Katcher (Design & Sculpt), Bight Toyworks (Design), Jean-Paul Mavinga (Design), Alex Tuis (Design), Alex Pascenko (Design), David Igo (Design), Daveed Kaplan (Sculpt), Simon Garcia (Mold & Cast)
Steve Riojas (Paint), and The Sideshow Design and Development Team.
You can see an image gallery with more than a dozen shots of the statue attached.
It's expected to be shipping to eager fans between August and October of 2017.
