Sony and Naughty Dog have revealed that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be delayed two weeks from its previously-promised April 26 release date until May 10.

The reason, given in a PlayStation Network blog post, is that "In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time."

In Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he's willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.
