Fast & Furious fans are well acquainted with the over the top nature of the franchise's stunts, and that isn't going to change in the newest iteration of the series.

In their latest up-close behind the scenes look at the film, Director F. Gary Gary gives fans a few glimpses at what is being called the zombie cars scene, where a litany of vehicles come flying out of windows to take out the grouped up cars below. We don't know who the cars on the ground belong to, but it would be safe to assume Charlize Theron's Cipher is involved on some level.

J.D. Schwalm, Special Effects Supervisor on Fast & Furious 8, gave some insight into how this scene will work, saying: "We have seven cars falling from the parking structure, and each one of them is aiming at a motorcade here. We have to pull these cars at an exact speed, and we're doing that using the winch on the crane. Each car comes out in succession to land on the vehicles on the road here. Obviously, there's no one in them because they're about to be impaled by 3000-pound lawn darts."

The zombie cars scene will use mostly practical effects, something that the series strives for whenever possible. Jack Gill, the 2nd Unit Stunt Coordinator, said about the scene: "We have about 35 to 40 cars in this pileup." Spiro Razatos, the 2nd Unit Director, added: "That's how we do things on the Fast and Furious. We do things practical, as long as we do it safely, that's the bottom line. "

Fast & Furious 8 rolls into theatres on April 14th, 2017.
