In the wake of this tragic accident, many have been posting touching tributes to the actor including condolences from JJ Abrams, Zachary Quinto, Mark Hamill, and Tom Hiddleston.

The touching tributes also include one Star Trek fan who has created an incredibly moving drawing of the late star that is going viral. The sketch, from tumblr user mrscratch0753, depicts Anton Yelchin being greeted by Leonard Nimoy (who passed away last year) along with other Star Trek actors Deforest Kelley and James Doohan who have passed away. Nimoy portrayed Spock, Kelley played Dr. McCoy in the original series, and Doohan portrayed Scotty before passing away in 2005.

The sketch shows Nimoy saying to Yelchin, “My young friend, we did not expect to see you so soon, but we would be honored to have you join us. Come, everyone is waiting. You’ll want to meet Gene, I am certain.”

To accompany his tribute drawing, the artist posted the sketch with the caption: “It’s Father’s Day, and I have no real time to finish this, but I wanted all my Trekkie friends and family all around the world to have this.”

Yelchin’s family has since asked for privacy in the wake of the tragic accident that devastated fans of Anton Yelchin around the world.
