Walt Disney Studios is filling out the cast of its adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time.

Oprah Winfrey is already attached to to the adaptation of the classic children’s fantasy novel, which is being written by Frozen‘s Jennifer Lee and directed by Ava DuVernay. Now two more stars in negotiations.

According to Variety, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling is both in negotiations to join Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time. Witherspoon is said to be taking the role of Mrs. Whatsit, a celestial being in the form of an elderly woman. Kaling will play Mrs. Who. Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Who, along with Mrs. Which, serve has helpful guides to the A Wrinkle in Time‘s main protagonist, a young girl named Meg Murry.

A Wrinkle in Time follows Meg Murry, whose father, a government scientist, went missing while working on the mysterious tesseract project. A Wrinkle in Time was originally published in 1962. It is the first book Madeleine L’Engle’s “Time Quintet,” and is followed by the Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters, and An Acceptable Time.

L’Engle’s original novel won several literary awards, including the Newbery Medal. Cartoonist Hope Larson adapted the story into a graphic novel published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux in 2012. A Wrinkle in Time was previously adapted into a made for television movie that aired ABC in 2004.

Kaling also provided the voice of Disgust in Disney Pixar’s animated feature Inside Out in 2015.

A Wrinkle in Time is still without a theatrical release date.
