The couple are now the proud parents of a new baby girl, and her name is Halley, after the famous comet.

Of course, the whole gang was at the hospital to celebrate the new arrival, sitting in the waiting room while Bernadette gave birth. During that time, they reflected on all the ways they’ve grown over the course of the past few years, although Raj (Kunal Nayyar) feeling a bit let down after accidentally revealing Halley’s gender to Howard before her birth.

Everything was okay in the end, though, as Howard told Raj that he and Bernadette would like Raj to be Halley’s godfather. Towards the end of the episode, the group went to go see all the hospital’s newborns, trying to figure out which one was Halley. Although they were confused at first, they quickly figured it out once they heard a cry that sounded just like Howard’s late mother’s unmistakable voice (voiced by the late Carol Ann Susi).

Much like his late mother, don’t expect to see baby Wolowitz on screen. In a tribute to Howard’s mother, showrunner Steve Molaro told TV Line that the baby will remain off screen. This will also make filming much easier, not having to worry about a baby on set.
