On the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, during the Weekend Update, Jennifer Aniston dropped by and met Rachel Green, the character she made famous on the popular comedy sitcom, Friends (1994–2004); however, this Rachel Green was played by cast member Vanessa Bayer, who has done her wonderful impression of the Friends character several times before on the sketch comedy series.
The skit began with Rachel Green (Bayer) explaining to Colin Jost why people are still so nostalgic for the ’90s. It soon transitioned into a series of cutaway gags that poked fun at how the classic sitcom quickly and abruptly leapt from one scene to another after a character delivered a sentence that sounded complete.
