Full John Wick: Chapter 2 spoilers follow!
However, in its sequel, the John Wick franchise has expanded its world. The past of our favorite skilled assassin remains very much uncharted despite tiny flashbacks providing windows into his life. The future is even more unclear as he finds himself literally on the run with his dog in the aftermath of being ex-communicado from his organization.
With a sequel still being a possibility, there are a number of things fans want to see in the John Wick: Chapter 3.
Let's take a look at them on the following slides...
John Wick double tapped almost everybody he wanted dead. A couple of shots to the leg or chest were never enough. The man made it a point to squeeze the trigger for a headshot to ensure the threat was eliminated.
Two characters John Wick left behind without finishing them off was Common's Cassian and Ruby Rose's Ares.
John likely knew he might bend some rules to get his revenge this time around. If Cassian and Ares are for some reasons disbanded from the group as he has been and made into targets, a Chapter 3 team-up with three times the assassin's on the side of the good guys would make for more epic action and a continued development of the world in which they operate.
The Matrix 4 will probably never happen. That said, in John Wick: Chapter 2, Keanu Reeves reunited with his Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne for a few scenes. If they turn out to be allies in Chapter 3, we only need one more piece of the Matrix puzzle...
Let's cast Carrie Anne-Moss as John's ally, boss, or aid of some sort for Chapter 3!
We know John Wick can drive cars impressively -- but can he fly a plane?
It does seem like there is nothing the man is not trained in. His kill count with pencils now hits at least five. So, let's take him off of earth's comfortable surface and see what he can do with an airplane.
We will gladly settle for some more car chases, though, seeing as the one featured in Chapter 2 was epic but left us wishing for more.
The Dog Survives
This entire saga began on the big screen because John Wick's dog was killed.
We don't want to experience another trauma where the dog dies. Luckily, the new pup survived Chapter 2. However, John has nobody to look out for him when Chapter 3 rolls around unless somebody from his past surfaces.
We can even toss the dog into the action to aid John as the world's best assassins are hunting him down -- think: Dead 2 Rights!
