The cast and crew of the upcoming eighth installment of the ultra successful Fast & Furious 8 franchise are certainly putting plenty of stamps in their passports this time around.

The movie has already filmed in Cuba, it being the first Hollywood film to actually be allowed to shoot there, and actor Vin Diesel (Dom Toretto) has teased the film making its way to New York as well. In the latest "From The Set" video, the latest destination is the frigid playground known as Iceland.

The new behind the scenes footage reveals a few different views of a big chase sequence, including plenty of Snowmobiles darting around the groups decked out cars, not to mention the militarized tank vehicle that shows up about midway through. Whoever they're fighting against, they certainly brought an abundance of weapons, as bullets are flying all over.

All this globetrotting is likely just one aspect of the fresh direction that Director F. Gary Gary has previously referred to (via Collider), saying: All I have to say is I'm extremely excited about the direction we're going in, and we're really pushing to make sure the audience feels like it's not more of the same. They feel like it's fresh, they feel like the characters they've come to know and love are there, but this is gonna be different, and that's probably the most I can give you right now."

The film features a few notable returns and new recruits, including Jason Statham, possibly Eva Mendes, and the addition of Charlize Theron.
