It's not The Martix 4 but it's probably the closest thing we will ever get.
Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne are reunited in a new photo from John Wick: Chapter 2. In fact, the trailer for the upcoming sequel has already shown the two characters meeting on a rooftop for some action packed sequences. While we will likely never see Neo and Morpheus together again, the actors responsible for their portrayals are back together.

Reeves is hardly the only actor returning for John Wick: Chapter 2, as his co-stars Lance Riddick and Ian McShane will also join him in the sequel. Joining the cast of John Wick: Chapter 2 is Reeve's Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne as well as Common, John Leguizamo, and Ruby Rose. Chad Stahelski is also returning to direct the sequel.
Wick won't be avenging his puppy in the sequel, but he does come out of retirement to help a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins' guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world's deadliest killers. Although action will once again be a focus in John Wick 2, Stahelski also said he wanted to expand the world of the movie.
John Wick: Chapter 2 will have a big presence at New York Comic Con, and it's expected that Lionsgate will debut new footage from the upcoming movie.
