Supergirl Star Melissa Benoist Files For Divorce From Blake Jenner

Supergirl star Melissa Benoist has filed for divorce from her husband Blake Jenner, TMZ reports.

In her divorce papers, the actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and is not seeking either party to give spousal support. The 28-year-old also requested to change her legal name back to Melissa Benoist.

The couple met on the set of Glee in 2012, and Benoist currently stars on the CW's Supergirl. Jenner has appeared on two episodes of the show.

"I love working with him," Benoist told PEOPLE in March. "We only have fun working together. He's my person to act with. He's my favorite scene partner, always."

Benoist and Jenner married in 2015 after getting engaged in 2013, PEOPLE shares. The couple has no children together.
