Lucasfilm has begun production on the latest Star Wars film, a standalone focusing on a young Han Solo.
The internet has been abuzz since fans spotted the new actors in the starring roles, Alden Ehrenreich as Han and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, seen having separate lunches with their respective predecessors, Harrison Ford and Billy Dee Williams.

Williams has since spoken to the Hollywood Reporter about meeting Glover, giving the actor his blessing and a few tips for playing the character.
The original Lando also revealed that he’d be willing to return to the franchise that made him an icon.
When asked if he’d be making a cameo in the new Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (not final title) movie, Williams said he “wouldn’t mind doing it.”
“If they asked me, I wouldn’t say no,” he added.”
Williams also said that he saw the Force Awakens and really enjoyed the film.
So now the ball is in Lucasfilm’s court. It doesn’t seem like we’ll see Lando Calrissian in Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but we can still hold onto hope for Episode IX!
