The next addition to the Star Wars franchise hits theater this weekend. With it, comes the revival of Darth Vader’s big screen run. One of the lingering questions since news broke than Darth Vader would be featured in Rogue One has been, “How much screen time does Darth Vader have?”

The answer is, “Not very much — but enough.”

Vader appears in Rogue One for less than 10 minutes, which is a generous estimate. However, during his time in the film, the Dark Lord of the Sith makes his presence known with a couple of epic scenes. The contents of the scenes will be held back, for now, as to avoid spoiling the movie for fans unable to see it for themselves just yet.

Keep in mind, Rogue One showcases the untold story of the soldiers in the trenches leading up to the events of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. As a few rebel bandits attempt to steal the plans for the Death Star, the master of the dark side of the force will not be pleased with their efforts.
