If George Lucas can put out a "Special Edition" of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, making visual and audio alterations to the original 1977 film, HISHE (How It Should Have Ended) can do the same with How Star Wars Episode IV Should Have Ended.

HISHE originally released their Episode IV video in March 2007. It was the third video in their animated webseries and currently has over 11.5 million view on their official YouTube channel. However, to celebrate the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, HISHE has put out a new "Special Edition" that features dramatically better animation and audio quality, as well as additional scenes.

"Years ago the classic Star Wars HISHE caught the eye of the internet and was the episode that launched our channel into life," HISHE posted. "It holds a very special place in our hearts. But as the years passed we started seeing requests for a 'special edition' since the original didn't quite match the style of our later HISHE episodes. And since it's Star Wars season, we thought now would be a fun time to give the old episode the George Lucas updates she deserves. Enjoy!"
