On September 1, consumers will celebrate Force Friday, the day upon which Star Wars toys honoring The Last Jedi will hit shelves everywhere. Although it will be another three months before the film itself is actually released, early analysis of these toys can give fans clues about what to expect from the film. Despite the official release of these toys being over a month away, one shopper came across some Hasbro 3.75″ figures in Panama that might have given away clues about The Last Jedi, as discovered by Star Wars News Net.

Throughout the course of The Force Awakens, audiences saw Kylo Ren‘s evolution from worshipping his grandfather Darth Vader, which included adopting a superfluous helmet to mirror Vader’s necessary headgear. At the film’s conclusion, when confronted by his father Han Solo, Kylo took the helmet off and then battled Finn and Rey.
With the figure above, Kylo is depicted without his helmet and a helmet doesn’t come as an accessory, implying that his helmet will be featured far less.
Whether or not this is for practical purposes, as he no longer has to intimidate his subordinates with the helmet, or if this reflects the completion of an emotional journey, having killed his father, is yet to be seen. The figures that have been released will all most likely be part of the first wave of figures, so it’s also possible that a future variation of a Kylo figure could feature the helmet.
We’ll have more answers about Kylo’s helmet when The Last Jedi lands in theaters December 15.
