Mark Hamill recently took part in a hilarious prank that shows he’s a hero both on screen and off, surprising some of the most devoted Star Wars fans in the galaxy. The victims though they were merely reciting some of the saga’s most iconic lines to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first film, only to have Hamill pop in to lend a hand. The video was made to spread the word about a unique opportunity to take part in not just a great cause, but also win a chance to appear in the upcoming Han Solo spin-off film.
In addition to scoring a role in a Star Wars film, the winner also gets to enjoy the original Star Wars at Skywalker Ranch and attend the premiere of The Last Jedi. Hamill also announced that the winner could spend some quality time with the actor and join him for lunch in the Los Angeles area.
Hamill isn’t the only one getting in on the prank, as John Boyega also took part in surprising fans.

Few people are as excited that John Boyega is a member of the Star Wars saga than Boyegaย himself, constantly showing his enthusiasm for his role and the opportunity to work with legendary co-stars. At Star Wars Celebration, Boyegaย helped surprise fans by hiding in the background of a mock red carpet photo shoot.
The reactions captured from the event are priceless, with some fans being completely stunned, barely capable of making a sound, while others couldn’t resist giving the star a giant hug.
Boyegaย recently confirmed that he’s signed on to star in Episode IX, so Boyegaย will be an integral part of the saga going forward. Fans only saw glimpses of Finn in the trailer for The Last Jedi, but it looks as though he’s recuperating from the savage injuries he suffered at the hands of Kyloย Ren.
