It’s prequel status and the fact that much of the cast is no longer around likely cement that fans won’t see these characters again anytime soon, but there’s always hope in the Star Wars universe, so perhaps it will happen down the line.

Rogue One joins films like Spawn, Titanic, and E.T., and you can view the full new additions list here. There will also be several series and films leaving the service, and you can find all of those here.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story currently enjoys a 78.76 on ComicBook.com’s composite rankings and you can submit your review of the film here. The official description can be found below.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is on Blu-ray and DVD. Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017, while Han Solo: A Star Wars Story lands in theaters on May 25, 2018. Star Wars: Episode IX hits on May 24, 2019.
