With San Diego Comic Con a little over a month away, attendees are eagerly wondering what collectibles they will be able to get during the weekend. And while companies such as Funko and Hasbro have already been making waves with their exclusives, it appears that Hallmark has also entered the game.
The keepsake company - best known for its ornaments and other collectible decorations - recently unveiled their exclusives for SDCC 2017. The line spans across popular fandoms of nerd culture, including pieces inspired by Star Wars, Star Trek, and DC Comics.
Hallmark's exclusive Star Wars pieces include an ornament version of a T-70 X-Wing Fighter, the same used by Poe Dameron at the beginning of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It includes an updated paint job from the company's 2016 Keepsake Ornament, as well as new sound capabilities, playing audio from the film between Poe and BB-8. The ornament will have limited run of 3,275 pieces, but will have a sale limit of 275 per day.
For those who want Star Wars exclusives to display year-round, Hallmark is also offering a perpetual calendar modeled after an Imperial R2-Q5 droid. The calendar's blocks display both English and Aurebesh. It will have a total run of 1,600 pieces, with 170 pieces available for sale each day.
The line also includes a Walrus Man/Ponda Baba plush, as part of the company's Itty Bittys line. With packaging modeled after Star Wars' original action figures, this plush will have a run of 4,000 pieces and a limit of 300 per day.
In addition to Star Wars collectibles, the line includes an ornament from another sci-fi galaxy. A Keepsake Ornament of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C will be available, with a battle-damaged appearance inspired by the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'Yesterday's Enterprise.' This ornament will have a total run of 3,325 pieces, and a limit of 225 per day.
And finally, Hallmark's SDCC exclusives include two pieces for DC Comics fans. Suicide Squad's Harley Quinn gets the Keepsake Ornament treatment, with a total run of 2,575 and a daily sale limit of 175. Another DC heroine, Wonder Woman, will be available as an Itty Bittys ornament, with a sale limit of 100 per day.
