WATCH Star Wars: A New Hope Deleted Scene and NSFW Blooper
Star Wars Celebration Orlando just wrapped up, and this year was especially unique, in part [...]
Deleted Scene
During a panel that took place on Day #1 of celebration, Industrial Light and Magic Chief Creative Officer John Knoll was the one to reveal the never-before-seen scenes from A New Hope.
Up first: fans got a look at a longer scene of Carrie Fisher's Princess Leia conversing with Grand Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing) before Leia's home planet, Alderaan, is eradicated by The Death Star. The scene gets deep when Leia questions the Empire's presumed position of moral high ground, by questioning their very humanity (a nice winking joke in the alien-populated universe of Star Wars).

NSFW Blooper
Ever wanted to hear some foul language in a Star Wars movie? Then look no further than the scene above.
If you don't recognize him, that's actor Angus MacInnes, who played the iconic "Gold Leader" in A New Hope's climatic battle between The Rebel Alliance fleet, and The Death Star.
The scene takes place when Gold Leader is leading a bombing run on the Death Star; as you can see (and as we heard multiple times during Celebration), the cast members trying to get George Lucas' sci-fi gibberish out of their mouths for the first time, had quite a frustrating time of it.
...For MacInnes, a few choice words helped clear that frustration right up.
