Star Wars fans were able to get their hands on a ton of new collectibles on Force Friday, which also revealed a lot of new information about the plot for the upcoming movie.
We were also treated to new work from Lucasfilm-comissioned artist Brian Rood, showcasing the main characters to be featured in Star Wars: The Last Jedi in photorealistic detail. Check out the gallery below.

The new images reveal Rey, Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron, Finn, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa.
Luke and Leia are featured in all of their regal glory, rendered with a stoicism befitting of the space twins.
Rey appears to be training with her lightsaber like we saw in the first trailer and again in the Vanity Fair magazine spread. Finn looks ready to take on some First Order scum, while Poe might be going over some battle plans.
Kylo Ren is helmetless, his scar full display, appearing as if he’s using his Force abilities to extract information from a captive once again.
The images are yet another example of Rood’s talent. The artist has provided many images for Lucasfilm and other Star Wars-related projects over the years. Seeing his take on the characters of The Last Jedi should be a treat for many fans.
They don’t give up a ton of information โ except for the Kylo Res one, perhaps โ but they do provide another look at the latest film that has been shrouded in mystery.
We shouldn’t expect to learn much about the movie until we get the next trailer, and even then fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. Lucasfilm has been notoriously secretive about the plots for the movies ever since George Lucas sold the company to Disney.
With the new trilogy set to wrap up in 2019, that should remain the trend for the foreseeable future.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will premiere in theaters on December 15.
