Get to know the cast of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in this recent and hilarious video from Vanity Fair.
Cast members of the very first stand alone Star Wars film in the galaxy including Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, and Alan Tudyk spent some time together answering silly questions while making goofy Star Wars noises.
Riz Ahmed is very impressive as the trumpet in his Star Wars theme song rendition, but Felicity Jones definitely has the Stormtrooper blaster sounds down.
Deigo Luna goes on to describe his character as, "the coolest captain of the Rebellion, he's a great cook, his favorite food is..."
Alan Tudyk explains that the Kyber Crystal is what makes lightsabers..."lightsabery."
When asked to describe the Rogue One squad, Ben Mendelsohn (the villain) jumps right in and says, "PUNKS!"
The entire casts except for Diego Luna chose Empire Strikes Back as their favorite Star Wars movie, as Felicity Jones notes, "it's all about the parent - child relationship!"
After the cast explains their most memorable moments on set, Diego Luna says Alan Tudyk's pajamas.
In the end each cast member talks about what it's like to be in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Felicity Jones wraps it up perfectly by saying, "It's like nothing else, it's a bit like what it must have been like to be in The Beatles or something...it's pretty cool!"
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits US theaters December 16, 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue Onetells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
