Steven Ogg is quickly becoming one of the hottest stars in Hollywood.

After breaking into the scene with the role of Trevor Phillips in Grand Theft Auto V, Ogg jumped into the spotlight in The Walking Dead‘s Season 6 finale before becoming a main character in Season 7 — Negan’s right hand man, Simon.
At the same time on Sunday nights, Ogg can be seen on HBO’s new hit series Westworld on which he plays a robot host in Jurassic Park-like getaway destination with fake Western humans.
Now, Ogg’s next adventure is lined up and it will take him to space.
Beginning filming in December of 2016, Ogg will star in a new space adventure film Solis. His character’s name is to be revealed, but Ogg will play an Engineer in a very unfortunate predicament.
Following an accident, an Engineer (Ogg) of an asteroid mining company endures the extreme limits, both physical and psychological, of human survival, trapped inside an escape pod as he helplessly drifts towards the Sun.
Solis will be directed by Carl Strathie of Into the White, Hollows, 1989, and Elliot accomplishments. On board to produce are Charlette Kilby and Caleb Wilson. Kilby and Strathie partnered for the previously mentioned films while Wilson’s resume extends to work on Four Christmasses, Soul Surfer, and Nine Lives.
Solis will film in London, England at GSP Studios. A release date is to be announced.
Ogg’s resume extends beyond the best known roles in The Walking Dead, Westworld, and Grand Theft Auto V. As an actor, Ogg has 35 credits to his name which also include Person of Interest, Unforgettable, Law & Order, and He Never Died.
