Fear The Walking Dead’s season 2 premiere was just about on par with the rest of the series, netting 6.7 million total viewers.
The good news is that 3.9 of those viewers were in the coveted 18 – 49 demo. On the negative side, the premier dipped 3% in total viewership from the season finale, though that episode boasted a Kirkman co-written script. Still, with all the competition it faced from outside influences, like The MTV Movie Awards and the Golden State Warriors basketball game (on their way to a 73 win season), it held its own.

AMC also can’t dislike the fact that Fear The Walking Dead is listed as the 6th highest rated show. Not a bad way to start the season.
