Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 5: Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame

Fear the Walking Dead will air the fifth episode of its third season on Sunday night.

Episode 3×05 is titled, “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame.” The official synopsis for the episode reads, “A new threat reveals itself to Madison and Troy as they search for answers. Alicia must reconcile with her past decisions.”

The new threat in reference might just end up being the identity of whoever killed Travis in the shocking Season 3 premiere. The episode, however, will follow much more than only Madison as she journeys outside of Broke Jaw Ranch with Troy Otto.

Also featured will be Alicia Clark as she continues to embrace the world around her, while her brother Nick struggles to make a decision between staying in this community with his family or leaving with his girlfriend Luciana.

Outside of Broke Jaw Ranch, Victor Strand and Daniel Salazar will continue their journey to the hotel where Strand has lied about Ofelia’s waiting for Daniel. Upon arriving and realizing he has been lied to about his daughter’s fate, the head of the Salazar family will be none too pleased with con man Strand.

Still, the mystery of Ofelia’s true whereabouts remains unsolved and might be revealed in the new episode.

If you jumped off of the Fear the Walking Dead train in its sluggish early episodes, the time to hop back on is right now. To say, “Fear the Walking Dead is at its best right now” would not emphasize the message given the show’s lackluster start, but would be true. In fact, Fear the Walking Dead, right now, is the Walking Dead universe at its best.
