Fear the Walking Dead is gearing up to air eight more episodes to round out its third season, releasing a few more details from the first three.

The show has come a long way from its start, which saw the characters being rounded up on a military base ruled by an American militia near the Mexican border. Several of the key players were killed off as tension raised following the introduction of Broke Jaw Ranch and the journey to it, with some not even surviving to that point.
Before looking at the individual episode synopsis and details for Fear the Walking Dead‘s return, here is its Season Three synopsis:
As Fear the Walking Dead returns for season three, our families will be brought together in the vibrant and violent ecotone of the U.S.-Mexico border. International lines done away with following the world’s end, our characters must attempt to rebuild not only society, but family as well. Madison (Kim Dickens) has reconnected with Travis (Cliff Curtis), her apocalyptic partner, but Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) has been fractured by her murder of Andres. Madison’s son mere miles from his mother, Nick’s (Frank Dillane) first action as a leader saw Luciana (Danay Garcia) ambushed by an American militia group — the couple escaped death, but Nick no longer feels immortal. Recovering both emotionally and physically, Strand (Colman Domingo) has his sights set on harnessing the new world’s currency, and Ofelia’s (Mercedes Mason) captivity will test her ability to survive and see if she can muster the savagery of her father.
Some characters remain on a similar path while others have discovered drastically different survival methods…
Episode 3×09
The first half of Fear the Walking Dead‘s midseason premiere will be titled, “Minotaur.”
The official synopsis for Episode 3×09 reads, “In the aftermath of the Clark family’s actions, new leadership assumes control of the Ranch. Daniel assists Lola in the distribution of water.”
“Minotaur” is written by Dave Erickson and Mike Zunic and directed by Stefan Schwartz. The episode airs at 9 pm ET on September 10th.
Episode 3×10
The second half of Fear the Walking Dead‘s midseason premiere will be titled, “The Diviner.”
The official synopsis for Episode 3×10 reads, “With the Ranch dangerously low on resources, Madison and Walker leave in search of a solution. Nick and Alicia struggle to keep the peace.”
“The Diviner” is written by Ryan Scott and directed by Paco Cabeza. The episode airs at 10 pm ET on September 10th, directly following the first hour of the midseason premiere.
Episode 3×11
The third episode of Fear the Walking Dead‘s second half of Season Three, eleventh of the season overall, will be titled, “La Serpiente.”
The official synopsis for Episode 3×11 reads, “Following the rekindling of an old friendship, a mission is launched to replenish the Ranch’s water supply by seeking the help of another community.”
“La Serpiente” is written by Mark Richard and Lauren Signorino and is directed by Josef Wladyka. The episode airs at 9 pm ET on September 17th.
