During the latest episode of Fear The Walking Dead, Pillar Of Salt, social media was buzzing with reactions to some of the bigger moments.

Ofelia has finally returned, and Twitter users couldn’t contain their excitement. After a three week hiatus, the fan-favorite character reappeared on her own. She is heading towards the United States, gave us some much needed back story into her character, and seemed to gain some street cred on the way.
Strand got stabbed, and fans were losing their minds. Claiming he is the most interesting character on the show, many commented their plans to stop watching the show if he were killed.
Alicia finally told Madison off for favoring Nick her whole life. What started as a normal confrontation turned into one of the deepest moments of the entire series. And, if that wasn’t enough, Travis is very close, but Chris is nowhere to be found!
Twitter reacted to these moments accordingly, and we’ve compiled some of the best of the night. Click forward to check out our Top Tweets from Pillar Of Salt.
Dolla Dolla Bills Y’all
I wish I had a dollar for every episode someone covered themselves in blood. #FearTWD
โ Hershel Greene (@HershelGreene1) September 19, 2016
Throughout both The Walking Dead, and Fear The Walking Dead, covering yourself in zombie guts has become a common theme.
Rick started the trend back in the second episode of TWD, and many have done it since. Nick adopts the practice often, and more than ten characters have given the strategy a shot in this season alone.
ย When the family trying to escape from La Colonia turned to walker insides for help, parody account @HershelGreene1 pointed out how common this sequence has become.
If only there were enough dollars in the world for all of us to get in on the action…

Did Everyone Forget?? Or…
THERE’S STILL ZOMBIES IN THE OCEAN! #FearTWD
โ Crazyfanperson2000 (@MirrorFlame8438) September 19, 2016
A few minutes into the episode, there is a short montage of life at the hotel. Alicia is learning to surf, some guys are fishing off the pier, and life just seems to be all-around pleasant.
Aren’t we forgetting something?
Just last week, the hotel survivors led all of the infected off the pier and into the ocean. Not much time has passed so, it stands to reason, that those zombies aren’t far off. They may not swim, but they can’t be far.
Does no one remember that this just happened?
@MirrorFlame8438 sure doesn’t.
ย Using all caps to get their point across, this Twitter user gets props for stating the obvious, even when the characters don’t.
Help! I’ve Fallen & I Can’t Get Up!

When Strand was stabbed by Ilena, Twitter immediately erupted. They cried out for someone to save their favorite character, while cursing that they would leave the show should he die.
While the complaining was heavy, few stopped to notice how quickly Strand hit the floor.
Once he was down, he seemed to channel his inner-grandma and began struggling against his own injury.
Twitter user @MJCaan pointed out that this struggle looked exactly like those infomercials for life-line alert systems.
You know the ones, the “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” commercials? While the product helps a serious need, the ads are often mocked for their acting inability.
See You Later, Alligator
Anyone else think that Daniel is the “Morgan” in this show? We’ll see him in 3 seasons. #FearTWD #deadbuzz
โ Raven (@Raven_M_C) September 19, 2016
When Morgan popped up in The Walking Dead for one episode in season three, fans were ecstatic about the character’s return. The excitement grew when he returned for good in season six.
Since Fear The Walking Dead has borrowed plenty from the original series, fans are hoping a similar story will appear at some point.
When Daniel burned down the house in the midseason finale, no one ever actually saw him die. This leads many fans to believe that he will turn back up at some point.
Major points to @Raven_M_C for pointing out the connection during one of Ofelia’s flashbacks.
When you think about it, she was talking about her father an awful lot? Could it be a coincidence?
Tweet Of The Week
Going into Colonia like… #FearTWD pic.twitter.com/ApJqSrfoOn
โ Ethan Warner (@EthanWarner95) September 19, 2016
This week’s Tweet Of The Week goes to @EthanWarner95 on Twitter, for his hilarious joke on Madison’s trip to the grocery store.
When Madison and Elena were going to trade ice for medicine, Madison was trying her hardest to blend in. It’s clear, if you’ve watched her character before, she tends to stick out like a sore thumb – especially in Mexico.
The picture in this tweet hit the nail on the head, and had us rolling over Madion’s attempts to act cool.
In 22 Jump Street, Channing Tatum’s character tried to do the same thing. When askied his name, “My name is Jeff” is all that could come out.
