What comes around goes around, right? Well, if you’re Andrew Lincoln, perhaps karma isn’t something you should keep stock in. The unsuspecting actor was glitter-bombed by his co-star Norman Reedus, Lincoln decided to get his revenge during The Walking Dead‘s panel at San Diego Comic Con. Clearly, things didn’t go over well for the guy.

The whole situation began during The Walking Dead‘s panel where Chris Hardwick decided to ask Lincoln about Reedus’ well-executed prank. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the behind-the-scenes shenanigans, the story is fairly simple. Norman Reedus, the mischievous man that he is, decided to pull one over Andrew Lincoln by flooding the actor’s car a/c with glitter. So, when Lincoln escaped into his Ford to dodge the summer heat, all that the actor got was a face-full of glitter – and Reedus was there to capture it all on camera.
“I drove home from that point,” Lincoln said, recalling the moments following the prank. The actor described how he tried to vacuum out the glitter, growing hotter and sweatier in the process, before he got back into his now-clean car…only to sadly turn back on the a/c.
Distraught, Lincoln then talked about how his two children had even asked their father about his glittery makeover. Telling them that ‘Nanny Norman’ was the source of his international humiliation, Lincoln’s children may have then given the actor inspiration to glitter-bomb Reedus publicly at the panel – but it ultimately backfired.
When Lincoln reached out his hand to blow tightly held glitter at Norman, the British actor surely wasn’t expecting to get a bit of backlash himself. Reeling from the attack, Lincoln’s own beard was covered in gold glitter while Reedus got away almost unscathed. So, I think we can all agree with Lincoln when he speaks to the audience after the failed prank, telling everyone that his attempt, “didn’t go quite the way I wanted.”
