In another tweet, the actor who joined The Walking Dead at just 10-years-old and is exiting at the age of 18, wrote “I feel so exposed like a naked mole rat or something.”

In the free time Riggs will have in the wake of his Walking Dead gig, the actor has taken up music and released his first song under the name of Eclipse. He also sported a mullet for a short time while working on a movie in Alabama. Still, his exit from the AMC series is what has fans everywhere talking, including Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln in an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com.

“This was the hardest… Losing Steven [Yeun] was… the thought of the journey without Steven in the cast was unbearable but this is… I didn’t see it coming,” Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln told ComicBook.com. “Scott called me up and said, ‘You’re gonna hate this one. I want to just forewarn you.’ Even then, I was waiting to say, ‘This is a really cool way of telling me that I’m off the show, you know that?’ That’s what I thought he was about to say. He said, ‘It’s the kid.’ I couldn’t even say, ‘No.’ I was silent for a minute. He said, twice, ‘Are you still there?’ I just didn’t see it coming.”
