The Walking Dead is a show which has fans tuning in every Sunday night for a number of reasons but chief among them seems to be the fear of missing a major character die.

Season 7 has been deadly on many fronts but the unfortunate community claiming the highest body count so far is Alexandria. Since Negan’s arrival, fans have said goodbye to Abraham Ford, Glenn Rhee, Spencer Monroe, and Olivia. Of course, the one Savior who fans seemed to be taking a liking to also bowed out courtesy of Daryl Dixon and a lead pipe.
With six episodes left in The Walking Dead Season 7, many are wondering which characters are the most likely candidates to say farewell before the season comes to a close.
On the following slides, we look at the most likely candidates to die in the six remaining episodes.
Sasha
Sashaย has all but fulfilled the comic book role of Holly, Abraham’s ex-girlfriend, separated only by his death.ย
In the comics, Holly sacrifices herself in an effort to help Alexandria win a battle against the Saviors. Putting aside the fact that Sonequa Martin-Green joined the cast of the upcoming Star Trek series, Sashaย has already shown willingness to sacrifice herself in favor of revenge against Negan.
In fact, the cluesย of Sasha’sย death have already been thoroughly laid out throughout Season 7. For more on that, check out the list of clues we laid out by clicking here!

David
David is a creep and no one will miss him but his death will be something more to cheer about than expected.
In The Walking Dead comics, David attempts to rape one of Negan’s prisoners. However, Negan has a strict “no rape” policy which he enforces at the Sanctuary. The penalty? Death.
When Negan barges into a cell and catches David trying to rape Holly, he quickly puts a knife through his neck before David has a chance to defend himself. It was a shocking and slightly confusing show of Negan’s morality and ruthless abilities all in one moment.

Richard
The Kingdom’s Richard looks like he might be a bit of a loose cannon. The character acts first and thinks later which often proves costly in the apocalypse. The character recently angered not only the Saviors but, also, Daryl Dixon.ย
The character does not surviveย the All Out War storyline in the comics and, so far, the live action adaptation has been mostly accurate. In the pages of Robert Kirkman’s comics, Richard dies in issue #118 — gunned down in an early battle against the Saviors. Should The Walking Dead‘s pace continue and follow the books as accurately as it has, Richard might be in trouble.

Aaron
Aaron is a survivor of the All Out War storyline in the comics but feels like one of the characters who might get the unexpected death treatment, the same way Deniseย Cloydย did.
As Aaron continues to grow into a leadership role and close friend to Rick Grimes, fans of The Walking Dead know to expect the worst for such moments. Shortly after Hershel become a very prominent role on the series, he literally lost his head before his comic book counterpart did. The same can be said, in terms of becoming a main character before dying, for Tyreese, Beth, Noah, and many more.

Benjamin
Benjamin has learned how to fight but if he doesn’t heed Ezekiel’s advice of not seeking them out, he might run into trouble. Furthermore, his innocence has made him beloved by both fans and hardened characters such as Morgan and Carol.
If Ezekiel, Morgan, and Carol all need a reason to go to war, Benjamin’s death could provide the push.
Given the hostile nature of the Kingdom’s interactions with the Saviors, Benjamin will need to keep up the self-defense if he wants to make it out of the season.
