On hand to present the trailer were series stars and crew members, including Greg Nicotero, Scott Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, Khary Payton, Chandler Riggs, and more. However, one actress who has earned a role of increasing size on the AMC series was busy promoting her new Shadow of War game during the presentation of Season 8’s trailer.
A couple of hours after The Walking Dead‘s Hall H panel, Jadis actress PollyAnna McIntosh stopped by ComicBook.com’s suite at San Diego Comic Con to chat about her new game and the upcoming season but also checked out the trailer for the very first time.
In the video above, McIntosh’s reaction to The Walking Dead‘s Season 8 trailer is captured!
McIntosh was promoted to series regular for the eighth season of The Walking Dead, meaning we will be seeing a lot more of her now villainous Jadis character.
“They’ve been very warm,” McIntosh said of the fans at her first Walker Stalker Convention despite the Season 7 finale’s villainous twist for her role. “They’ve been very creative. They’ve been bringing me dolls and gifts and they’ve been bringing they’re kids to meet me. I’m honestly just overwhelmed and it’s very emotional and sweet. They seem to be able to separate Jadis the b—-, excuse me, that they scream at the TV about from me who brings her to life but is quite nice, really.”
