Elsewhere, Sasha draws a map of the Sanctuary. In a doctor’s office, Maggie sees her baby on a monitor. Maggie writes a note about supplies reading, “Scrap metal, batteris, new generator, ask Eduardo?, emergency exit, and horses??” Enid prepares some vegetables for them to eat. Maggie digs in but quickly keeps writing.

The next day, Sasha prepares the community for fighting by showing them how to wield a knife. Maggie and Jesus sit beside the group, planning. Sasha approves of the progress before heading to Abraham’s grave to mourn him. In the house, Maggie sleeps as Hesus writes out more plans on a book. He notices her sleeping and quietly approaches Sasha to hand her to filled out map of the Sanctuary. Enid knows that Sasha is going to leave and looks a bit sad. Sasha highlights the fact that there are a lot of walkers in front of the Sanctuary.

At night, Daryl sits alone with a knife as Maggie prepares food at a grill. She notices him and heads his way, offering a plate and condolences before heading back inside. On the way, she stops to wipe tears before walking dead. Later, Sasha is at Abraham’s grave, once again.

The next day, Gregory looks on from his window as he throws back a shot of gin. He sees Rosita walk through the gates, indicating this has all been a flashback to before we saw Rosita approach Sasha with the mission. The scene plays out where Rosita tells Sasha, “I’m here because I need your help.”

Maggie and Jesus catch up on some trailer porch steps. He tells her this is the first time he has felt like he belonged and that is largely due to helping Maggie and Sasha fit in. He tells Maggie it was hard to fit in with “neighbors, friends, boyfriends.” She tells him, “You should try it sometime, even if it doesn’t last.” Maggie is going to try and trade spears for body armor with the Kingdom, saying they will really need Easter Eggs.

Sasha heads into the trailer and grabs a few bullets hidden in a book just as Jesus and Enid walk in. She makes up an excuse and Jesus tells her, “You can have the bullets.” He pleads with her not to go. He comes to the conclusion that her and Rosita will go after Negan. She insists she won’t change her mind. Enid tells Sasha that Maggie doesn’t know Rosita is here and Sasha doesn’t want to. She points at that Rosita is going either way. Jesus and Enid want to go but she shuts them down. Jesus knows Sasha will go but insists she talk to Maggie first. He leaves and Sasha approaches Enid, urging her to protect Maggie and calling her “the future of this place.” Sasha hands over a bracelet for the baby and asks Enid to hold onto it while she’s gone. In 10 minutes, Enid will tell Maggie what’s going on. Enid leaves and Sasha gets ready to go.

Eduardo sounds a bell to alert everyone that the Saviors are coming. Daryl and Enid run for Maggie to hide. Rosita finds Sasha and asks where to hide. Sasha points out that they’re not hiding. Instead, they’re leaving. Maggie, Daryl, and Enid run through the Hilltop in search of a hiding place, ultimately finding the cellar under the Barrington House.

Inside, Simon’s group barges in. Gregory opens his doors, slowly, to find Simon. He greets him. They shake hands and Gregory offers gin in his office but now Simon is into tequila. Simon says there’s no need to talk. This is a quick visit. He is here searching for a “certain somebody.” Gregory asks who it is.

Daryl and Maggie hide, looking on to see if they’re going to be spotted.

Rosita and Sasha walk through the woods and head for the Sanctuary.Moments later, Rosita is hotwiring a car. Sasha will ciphon gas if the car starts. Rosita spots the necklace that Rosita is wearing and asks, “Like it? I made it,” before telling her, “Car’s dead.” They continue their search abandoned cars and areas for transportation. Sasha asks where Rosita learned to disarm bombs and she tells her, “Someone I knew.” Rosita doesn’t want to talk unless it’s about the mission. Sasha immediately shares all of the information Jesus offered to her about the Sanctuary. Sasha suggests staying outside the Sanctuary and trying to take a shot from a distance. Rosita wants to go in, to make sure they get him. Sasha insists she won’t miss. Rosita says “I won’t get caught.” Sasha insists going inside doesn’t offer another try because they’ll get killed. A pair of walkers approach and they quickly dispatch them. Now, they’re done talking.

Back at the Hilltop, Saviors search the community. Enid approaches with a basket of vegetables for one of them. He drops the basket, tells Enid to pick it up, and sees the knife on her hip when she does. He takes it and heads to the cellar. Slowly opening the door, light hits Maggie and Daryl’s faces. The Savior smells some vegetables inside and puts them by the door. Maggie spots Enid’s knife on his hip and starts to lose her cool.

Simon and Gregory approach Dr. Harlan Carson’s office. The doctor says they can’t spare any medicine. “Negan wants you where he is,” Simon tells him. “You’re coming with us.” The doctor asks why Negan needs two doctors. Simon makes an expression back and tells him, “Answer: we don’t.” Harlan figures out that his brother was killed. Harlan wants to pack and Simon tells him he doesn’t need to. Before leaving, Simon reveals the box the Saviors have been carrying is loaded with aspirin. Gregory asks for a private word.

In their talk, Gregory says that if his people don’t trust him and his leading abilities, someone else can step in for him with crazy ideas which Negan won’t like. Simon hears the concern but says, “If you’re having problem, of that nature, come to see me, anytime.” Gregory says he doesn’t know where to go. Simon tells Gregory to tell the guard who he is and he’ll be allowed in. He puts directions on a paper and stuffs it in Gregory’s pocket. “You’re a good producer for us, I don’t want you to be so stressed,” Simon said.

Maggie and Daryl are still hiding as the Savior is getting closer. Daryl gets ready to kill him but the man starts toward the door as Maggie holds him back. Maggie questions why Daryl was going to kill him. “He deserved to die,” Daryl said. Maggie asks Daryl to look at him. “I’m sorry,” Daryl says, emotionally. “It wasn’t your fault,” Maggie tells him. He insists it was and she insists it wasn’t. “You’re one of the good things in this world. That’s what Glenn thought. And he would know because he was one of the good things, too. I wanted to kill that guy too. I wanted to strangle him up and watch him die. But we have to win. Help me win.” They share a hug.

Outside, Harlan is escorted into the Saviors’ trucks. The community watches their doctor leave.

Sasha and Rosita set cars on fire in what used to be a dealership, attracting a small herd of walkers to it. They hurry to hop a fence and head towards other cars which they’re attempting to hotwire. Rosita is successful and orders Sasha to her car. On the way out, Rosita hits a few walkers with the car before heading out, dragging the fence behind them.

Later, Sasha and Rosita overlook the Sanctuary’s zombie army which has become fortified by Eugene’s plan to cover them with metal. They’re locked into the fences. Sasha tells Rosita she saw Eugene ordering people around. Rosita insists he is “playing some angle.” Sasha asks Rosita to teach her the knots she is tying but Rosita insists it won’t matter soon but eventually says, “Yeah, I’ll show you.” She teaches her one knot before handing over the rope for Sasha to try. Rosita picks up the rifle and peeks at Eugene. Moments later, Rosita reveals how she learned some of the talents she has now. “A lot of guys wanted to protect me, like there was no way I knew how to take care of myself,” she explains of the beginning. She was picking up everything they were doing and she would do it better. “I’d outgrow them and bounce. The sex was just for fun. I mean, the worlds over, everyone should be getting their rocks off.” Sasha asks if that’s how it was with Abraham. “No,” Rosita admits. “I fell in with him because he saw I could handle my s— and I never looked back.” She jokes about how she acted like everything was all good when he wasn’t but he was suddenly all good. She didn’t know how to feel when it was safe in Alexandria and she thought she hated Sasha when he left for her but realized she just hated that he figured his stuff out first. Sasha is glad Rosita felt like she could share this information. “I never get to tell Abraham, I’m happy he was happy,” Rosita said. She asks Sasha if she was happy to which Sasha responds affirmatively.

“It wasn’t his time,” Rosita said. “Abraham would’ve wanted to go out fighting,” Sasha said. “And that a–hole with the bat took that away, too.” They conclude this is what has to happen and it’s what everyone wants before looking outside, once again. Sasha looks through the scope and sees Eugene waving Harlan’s truck in. Negan emerges with Lucille and greets the doctor. He hugs Eugene and hands him a knife. They hear Eugene over the radio, ordering more walkers for the gates. This prompts a change of plans among Rosita and Sasha. They’re going in.

Back at the Hilltop, Gregory writes notes as Jesus knocks on the door. Gregory asks him to have a seat. Gregory says he is slacking and has too many people in his trailer, calling it a “fire hazard,” and assigning jobs to the new folks which will split people up. Jesus talks back which angers Gregory. They discuss the threat. Cal enters with tequila for Gregory, who dismisses Jesus. Daryl finds Jesus inside, with his crossbow, and asks where Sasha and Rosita are.

At the Sanctuary that night, Eugene walks around outside with a Savior and Gremblygunk. The man is on guard duty but quickly gets shot in the face. Rosita and Sasha quickly approach. Eugene is terrified. They want to break him out and he says, “No, I’m not going with you. I didin’t ask you to come, so go!” He heads back inside. Rosita is pissed. She tells Rosita to keep watch before getting herself inside and locking Rosita out. “They need you,” she tells her before heading in on her own and killing a Savior on the way. Rosita hears gunshots as more Saviors emerge. She runs away, in tears. She looks up and sees a figure with a crossbow on their shoulder, watching her.
