Daryl has already taken up residence at Negan’s Sanctuary but apparently that’s not enough for Norman Reedus. The actor recently bought a home in upstate New York, one county over from Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Reedus bought a home in the Hudson Valley, according to WNYT. The new home is only a county over from Morgan’s Dutchess County estate. In fact, Morgan has long has roots in the area, owning a candy shop in Rhinebeck with Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd.
Reedus and Morgan were good friends prior to Morgan joining the cast of The Walking Dead in Season 7. It would appear that working together has simply cemented their relationship and has them wanting to hang out when they’re not working together on the AMC series.
Morgan is not going anywhere, though. The actor confirmed his villain will be around for Season 8 of The Walking Dead (which doesn’t begin until Fall 2017) just yesterday — and will be very heavily featured in the next couple of episodes.
Before any speculation begins — Reedus buying a house in upstate New York does not hold any significance in terms of Daryl Dixon’s future. The Walking Dead wrapped production on its seventh season a couple of weeks ago, meaning the actors are free to do what they please wherever they please whenever they please until late April or early May of next year.
