The Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun Cast In Christmas Movie The Star

Steven Yeun has been enjoying his time since leaving The Walking Dead at the beginning of this season. Since Glenn was killed off, Yeun married his longtime girlfriend, and announced that their first child was on the way.

It looks like the father-to-be is getting back to work, as Yeun’s first post-Glenn project has finally been announced.

Steven Yeun will be starring in the new animated film The Star from Sony.

The actor leads an all-star cast featuring veteran talents such as Kelly Clarkson, Aidy Bryant, Keegan-Michael Key, Kristin Chenoweth, Anthony Anderson, Gabriel Iglesias, Ving Rhames, Delilah Rene, Kris Kristofferson, Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, with Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Tracy Morgan and Christopher Plummer.

A small but brave donkey named Bo (Yeun) yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill.One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams.On his journey, he teams up with Ruth (Bryant), a lovable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave (Key), a dove with lofty aspirations.Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become accidental heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

The Walking Dead returns for the rest of its seventh season on February 12 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. Fear the Walking Dead‘s third season does not yet have a premiere date but with The Walking Dead finale set for April 2, expectations for Fear‘s return are set for April 9.
