Although there’s a little bit of comedy sprinkled in there, The Walking Dead isn’t exactly meant to be a funny. In fact, it’s downright depressing at times.

Thankfully, The Woodcreek Faction has found a way to brighten things up just a tad. The popular YouTube channel has given the newest season of the AMC zombie-series a Friends themed mash-up, and it’s as funny as you’d expect.

The classic theme song from the long-running sitcom is heard in the background, and the video begins to run through all of the main cast members. Rick, Daryl, Carol, Michonne, and others are featured in the credits.

The Woodcreek Fashion has done this style of video before, as they created the Friends theme back in season six of The Walking Dead. The earlier video used older footage, and included the likes of Glenn Rhee. There was also no Negan in the season six video, as he wasn’t a series regular until this year.

While the concept here may be a little demented, it’s sure to give you a chuckle or two. So, take a break from all the murder and mystery on The Walking Dead, and imagine a brighter world about some friends in a tiny apartment.
