First Page Of Negan's The Walking Dead Backstory Revealed

Negan is the most brutal, blunt, and intense villain The Walking Dead has ever seen. When he arrived in the comics, he made a lasting impact on the series when he bashed Glenn's skull with his baseball bat.

From the time he arrived to the time he was locked up in jail, readers learned a lot about the menacing brute. We saw his Sanctuary, his methods, and his brutality first hand. However, we never saw his rise to power, how he rallied so many men behind him, and where his precious Lucille came from.

That will soon change because Negan's backstory will be told, 4 pages at a time, with the Image+ magazine, in a story called Here's Negan. It will total 48 pages and play out over the course of a year.

The first page has now been revealed.

The next three pages will be released when the first issue of Image+, the Image comics preview magazine, hits shelves on April 27.
