Danay Garcia To Join ComicBook.com's Fear The Walking Dead After Show

Following Sunday night's new episode of Fear the Walking Dead on AMC, newcomer to the series Danay Garcia will join Brandon Davis for a recap and Q&A about the episode during ComicBook.com's live after show.

Garcia plays the role of Luciana, a member of the thriving Tijuana community in an otherwise desolate post-apocalyptic world. Having only met her last week, the character is still shrouded with mystery. Much of that mystery will change as we head into the ninth episode of Fear's second season, with Garcia's Luciana set to go on a dangerous adventure with Frank Dillane's Nick Clark.

Garcia was announced as a member of the cast during Fear the Walking Dead's San Diego Comic Con panel. The first look at Garcia as Luciana came in the Season 2B trailer originally shown in Hall H.

Prior to getting the gig at Fear the Walking Dead, Garcia best known role was Sofia Lugo on Prison Break from 2007 to 2009. Her other acclaimed credits include Liz in September, Danika, and From Mexico with Love.

Sunday's episode is titled, "Los Muertos." The official synopsis reads, "After the fall of the compound, Madison, Strand and others forge a tenuous path forward. Meanwhile, Nick is recruited for a perilous assignment."
