Less than a week from Negan's kill being revealed in The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere, everyone is tossing out their final theories and claims out about who the victim will be. From Aaron to Maggie to Negan's own man, everyone swears to have the answer and they're all vastly different.

Today, we're pointing the bat at Abraham.

The reasoning for Abraham being a popular candidate to be Negan's first victim lays in the look the two men shared. As Negan surveyed his options, Abraham knelt with a look on his face which Negan may have felt threatened by. Despite his eeny-meeny-miney-moe game, many people think he picked Abraham to protect himself down the line.

Furthering the speculation is the placement of blood on Rick's face in the first clip from the Season 7 premiere. With blood spattered across the right side of Rick's face, we can only assume that Lucille cracked the skull of somebody sitting immediately to the Sheriff's right leaving Maggie and Abraham as options. Given Maggie's state of health, it's unlikely she could raise her head after the bat's first crack to prompt Negan's, "Taking it like a champ!" line.

Of course, Abraham's comic book death was given to Denise earlier in Season 6, so the character should technically be dead already. In the comics, Dwight shot his arrow straight through Abraham's head fresh off of the break up with Rosita.

Many fans are speculating that Abraham was spared from his character's comic book death only to be developed a bit more and quickly slaughtered by Negan in order to have a bigger impact on The Walking Dead on his way out the door.

In addition to the story line reasoning, the audio accompanying the brutal scene doesn't sound like it has Abraham's manly yell anywhere in it. Voices that can be attributed to the likes of Rick, Carl, Aaron, Eugene, Michonne, Daryl, Rosita, Maggie, or Glenn can all be heard, but none sound like they can be Abe's.

Most importanty, Abe can be billed as Rick's "right hand man" Negan references to Rick in the aftermath of the beatdown. Only Glenn, Daryl, or Abraham could possibly fit that description but Abe is the only character from that list also in close enough proximity to leave a bloody mark on Rick's face.

By all of these standards, Negan's kill had to be Abraham.
