Spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 16 follow.
While Sasha's death will dominate much of the conversation surrounding The Walking Dead's Season 7 finale, there was another moment which will share the chatter. Just as Negan was about to bring his bat down on Carl's head in front of Rick, Ezekiel, his Kingdom, and Shiva the tiger came charging into battle to save them.
It was the first real celebratory moment for Rick and his team of the entire season. For 15 episodes, Rick's group was humiliated and broken down by Negan and his Saviors. It's the moment which made Andrew Lincoln drop his script and dance. For Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the excitement was kind of there, as well.

"It was much different mostly because Andy was super excited. This was the day he was gonna get a gun back," Morgan said. "He was prancing around and shoving it in my face. It was gonna end with him in tears."
Morgan went one further, expressing a bit of joy for The Walking Dead's leading man. "I was kinda happy for him," Morgan said. "It was good to see Andy back. It was a rough season for him. That day we shot him, it lead right into the all out war. Plus, we got to see Shiva in action. The scene itself was obviously very intense. Any time Negan and Rick are nose to nose, sparks are gonna fly."
Shiva in action made for one of the series' most exciting moments. Morgan is not wrong for appreciating it.
