The Walking Dead: Maggie And The Baby's Fates Revealed

Spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 4 follow.

After a three week absence from The Walking Dead, the fates of Maggie Rhee and her unborn baby have been revealed after last week's episode faked her death in to keep Negan off of her trail.

Starting the fifth episode of The Walking Dead's seventh season, Maggie found herself at the Hilltop under the care of their doctor. She is healthy and recovering from a disconnected placenta, which is what caused her to feel unwell in the first place.

However, Maggie will have to stay at the Hilltop to see her recovery through despite Gregory seeing her as threat.

In the comics, Maggie goes on to become a leader at the Hilltop community. Gregory, being a cowardly man in charge, is easily overthrown by his people who would rather have the bravery and experience Maggie offers running the show. Further down the line, Maggie delivers a healthy baby who she names Hershel, after her late father.

Still, she never moves on from Glenn. Years after her husband's death, Maggie turns down love several times. In fact, when approached in the comics recently, she confirmed her feelings for Glenn are still completely present and she is choosing not to move on, holding on to her love and loyalty.

Whether or not Maggie's baby will arrive healthy on the AMC series is to be seen. One baby has already exceeded its comic book lifespan, with Judith making it out of the prison and growing older under Rick's care today. In the comics, the Governor's raid killed both Lori and Judith with one bullet. Is there room for two babies on the TV show?
