The Walking Dead: New Theory Connects The Kingdom To The Scavengers

Last week's The Walking Dead made quite the splash with viewers. In addition to further expanding the world of the show with the addition of The Scavengers, 'New Best Friends' provided viewers with Winslow, one of the most unique-looking walkers in recent years.

But, according to one fan on Reddit, it may have also given a fans a new theory - one that could possibly further intensify the relationship between The Scavengers and the peaceful members of The Kingdom.

Reddit user mbdnr suggested on the show's subreddit forum that two of the show's minor characters could possibly be related.

In a scene early in the episode, Dianne (played by Kerry Cahill), one of Ezekiel's soldiers, made a remark about the dress that a Walker is wearing. "My sister had that dress." she points out. "I used to love that dress."

While the first assumption with that statement would be that Dianne's sister was that particular walker, the fan suggested something else altogether. Their theory is that Tamiel (played by Sabrina Gennarino), one of The Scavengers' main members who escaped being killed by Father Gabriel, is actually Dianne's sister.

"Both characters have been accented in the last episode," the user points out. "They look similar. Is it possible that they are sisters?"

While fans on the subreddit seem to be divided on the theory - with one user referencing a recent Instagram photo of the two actresses watching the episode together. While that particular user believed it was proof that the actresses don't look alike in real life, we do have to admit they do share some similar features.

If this fan theory were to come true, and the pair were to be revealed as sisters, it would certainly create an interesting link between the two groups. While Dianne and Tamiel still remain secondary characters on the show, their connection could be a small but integral part of what it takes to push the members of The Kingdom to join in the fight against Negan.
