Chris Hardwick Gets The Walking Dead Art Created Out Of A Chunk Of Wood

Chris Hardwick, the Nerdist chief and The Walking Dead superfan who hosts AMC's Talking Dead, was the lucky recipient of a piece of creepy, moody fan art created out of a chunk of wood.

Hardwick posted to Instagram, "As soon as I saw it, I reached out and offered to buy it but he refused to take money for himself and asked if would instead donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, so I did and here it is!!!"

Typically, The Walking Dead's premiere date aligns with New York Comic Con, which this year is October 6-9.

Last year, The Walking Dead premiered on October 11 and held a massive premiere event at Madison Square Garden. The announcement came at San Diego Comic Con in July.
