Poor Yelp Reviews
Wow! That hotel staff is NOT getting a five star rating... #FearTWD #FTWD
— Life In Geekville (@GeekvilleLife) September 5, 2016
After Elena locked the wedding guests in their reception hall, fans were buzzing about her decision. Some thought the choice was the right one to make, others thought that she was a little too ruthless. Some fans, however, thought the hotel may need to worry about the feedback those guests would leave.
@GeekvilleLife let us know that there was no way the service in that hotel could recover after those guests went home and turned to their keyboards.
This was a funny take on an extremely serious scene, and it helped to remind us all that it was just a TV show.
Timing is Everything
If AMC could stay consistent with how long it takes to turn from alive-dead-zombie, that'd be greeeaaaat. #FTWD
— Joe Benson (@JoeCBenson) September 5, 2016
That horrific wedding scene really kicked off when the father of the bride collapsed on the dance floor. As his daughter tried to provide some immediate care, he regenerated and bit the majority of her face.
This was a gruesome scene to watch, but it made everyone question the time it takes to turn into a zombie after you've died.
As @JoeCBenson points out, The Walking Dead universe has been pretty inconsistent on this front.
In some instances, it takes a dead body minutes to regenerate. Sometimes, it takes longer than that.
In this scene, however, the man went from the onset of a heart attack to flesh-eating zombie in under 30 seconds. Unfortunately for his daughter, quick is an understatement.
Everybody Hates Chris
Chris makes me miss Carl. And I hate Carl. #FTWD
— Poohie Morgan (@PoohieDog) September 5, 2016
For some reason, a lot of fans have taken to Twitter to bash the character of Chris. Due to his ridiculous decision-making, sketchy interactions with his family, and over-the-top disrespect of his father, audiences are starting to get fed up.
Unfortunately for the series, this is causing fans to lose interest when Chris and Travis are on screen. A similar reaction occurred during the first few seasons of The Walking Dead, as fans were becoming fed up with Carl and his decision.
One of these fans, is @PoohieDog. This user has taken to comparing the two characters as a way of showing their true disdain for Chris.
@AMCTalkingDead I'm sick of your shit Chris! There is no time for your teenage angst in the zombie apocalypse #FTWD

This fan wasn't the only one who was over Chris and his shenanigans. His haters laid it on thick throughout the entire episode.
Hide & Seek World Champion
Ofelia is taking "hide and seek" way to serious... #FearTWD #FTWD
— Lucille (@twdlucille) September 5, 2016
In addition to the hatred toward Chris, many fans found something else to be upset about.
Where was Ofelia!?
After her disappearance last week, audiences were hoping she would have a valiant return at some point in this episode. As the hour came and went, Ofelia was no where to be found.
Instead of complaining about her absence, like most others, @twdlucille chose to take this opportunity to compliment Ofelia. For her to hide out from her family, friends, hotel staff, bad guys, thousands of zombies, and millions of fans worldwide: that takes some serious skill.
We are all eagerly awaiting Ofelia's return to the series, but are ever grateful for tweets like this one to help us laugh in the mean time.
Tweet Of The Week
Who had the worst wedding #FTWD or #GameofThrones ???
— I Am Panda (@Nightx_xPanda) September 5, 2016
The tweet of the week this week has to go to @Nightx_xPanda. After a horde of fans chose to react about how terrible that wedding was, this user took it one step further by drawing a terrifying comparison.
Instead of taking this wedding as the terrible tragedy that it was, this user asked if it was worse than the Game of Thrones wedding. If you're familiar with the HBO series, that thought will make you cringe.
In one of the most shocking moments in television history, Game of Thrones killed of three of its main protagonists in an event that has come to be known as The Red Wedding.
Both of these weddings were terrible to watch, and both were equally as bloody for their guest. We definitely wouldn't want an invite to either one.
