Daryl's life wasn't exactly great before he met Negan on The Walking Dead, but that is starting to look like paradise compared to where the leader of the saviors has him now.

In the upcoming Walking Dead episode "The Cell", fans will get to see where Negan sent Daryl off to, and well, it's not exactly a nice place. Negan is looking to make an example of Daryl without killing him, and actor Norman Reedus told EW a bit about the living conditions.

"I'm butt naked … eating dog food in the next episode our show," Norman Reedus reveals."It was pretty gross."

Wow...that's, well, awful. Granted, you didn't think it would be a five-star hotel with some semblance of wifi, but still. Negan is looking to leave his mark on Daryl, but in some ways, he has already done so when he killed Glenn. In addition to seeing his friend die in front of him in the most brutal way possible, Daryl still feels responsible for his death in the first place, as it was his actions that caused Negan to claim another victim.

Reedus jumped up to punch Negan after he taunted Rosita with a bloody Lucille, just after bashing in Abraham's head in.

"He goes into a very dark place," Reedus said. "He completely takes the weight of that and just carries that with him. He never forgives himself and he takes full responsibility. Although the thing is, Daryl didn't say "Oh if I do this, they'll kill Glenn." Nobody knows what's going to happen with that guy with the bat. Nobody knows anything. But what he was doing was protecting Rosita. Negan had that bloody bat, waving it in her face, yelling at her, and it's right in front of my face too. We were right next to each other. And he was picking on Rosita and Daryl stood up for her and he stood up for Abraham. The outcome of that, nobody knew that was going to happen."

Fans will be introduced to Daryl's new life in "The Cell", which airs on AMC Sunday night.
