Not to worry, Talking Dead fans: the show will air at 10/9c immediately after The Walking Dead with Hardwick in the interviewer’s chair. The American Music Awards is hosted by Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross, not Hardwick, who took the stage alongside The Mayor star Lea Michele to introduce performer Nick Jonas.

Both the American Music Awards and Talking Dead are filmed in Los Angeles, about half an hour apart — but Hardwick is already on his way over to talk all things dead.
