What's that old proverb? Beware of geeks bearing gifts?

The Walking Dead co-creator Robert Kirkman surprised his friend and Deadpool creator, Rob Liefeld, with a life-size replica of the Merc with a Mouth.

"Deadpool baby!! Knock on the door this morning and my best friend of all space and time Mr. Robert Kirkman personally delivered this LIFE-SIZE DEADPOOL statue!!" Liefeld excitedly shared on Instagram. "Simply blown away!!!! Thank you Robert, this is absolutely amazing!!"

The two became pals many years ago and even collaborated on several comic book projects, such as the short-lived series The Infinite.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool is now playing at your local theater.

  1. Are DP's feet the right size or are they tiny baby feet hidden behind some debris?

The thighs are all wrong on the statue. They should be at least 5 times  that big.
